Ingredients
  • 50g unsalted butter, diced
  • 70g plain flour
  • 1tsp ground cinnamon
  • 50g ground almonds
  • 2 x 410g tins Asda Pear Halves in Fruit Juice
  • 350g Frozen for Freshness Blackberries
  • 1tsp cornflour
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 150ml single cream
Method
  • Preheat the oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4.

  • Rub the butter into the flour. Stir in the cinnamon and almonds; set aside.

  • Drain the pears, reserving 2tbsp of the juice; slice each half into 4 chunks.

  • In a large bowl, toss the pears and blackberries with the cornflour. Stir in the vanilla and reserved juice.

  • Tip the fruit mixture into a 20cm x 25cm baking dish. Sprinkle over the crumble topping. Bake for 25-35 mins, until the crumble begins to brown. Serve with the cream, to drizzle over.
