Ingredients
  • 3 ripe dessert pears
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Black pepper
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 2 baby gem lettuces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 100g Asda Extra Special Parma Ham, torn
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Method
  • Halve, core and slice 3 ripe dessert pears. Heat 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil in a pan. Add the pears to the pan and cook until golden. Season with black pepper.

  • Halve and stone 2 ripe avocados and spoon out small scoops of avocado flesh using a teaspoon.

  • Wash and tear the leaves of 2 baby gem lettuces. Place 1 tbsp olive oil in a large bowl. Gently toss in the lettuce leaves and avocado scoops and pile onto six serving plates.

  • Spoon the hot pears over the salad leaves and top with 100g torn Asda Extra Special Parma Ham. Finish by drizzling over 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar and serve straight away.
