  • 500g pack ready to roll puff pastry
  • 2 x 454g packs Extra Special Pork Sausages
  • Flour for rolling out
  • 200g Asda Chosen by you Mincemeat
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Mustard, to serve
  • Pre-heat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Cut the pastry in half and roll each piece out on a lightly floured surface to 18cm x 36cm strips.

  • Make a long cut in the skin of the sausages and remove the skins. Flour your hands and the work surface and shape the sausage meat into 2 sausages, each 36cm long.

  • Spread the mincemeat along the centre of the length of each strip of pastry. Put a sausage on top.

  • Brush the egg along the length of the pastry on one side, then fold the other side over to make large sausage rolls. Turn over so the join is underneath.

  • Cut into 4cm lengths and put on the baking trays. Make 2 cuts in the top of each roll and brush with egg.

  • Bake for 25 minutes. Serve warm or cold with mustard.
