Lemon and elderflower fizz
- 2 pieces lemon zest, made using a vegetable peeler
- 25ml Asda Extra Special Triple Distilled Premium Gin
- 15ml elderflower cordial
- 10ml lemon juice
- 50ml prosecco
Place the glass, either a Champagne saucer or Champagne flute, in the freezer for at least 10 mins to frost over.
Add the gin, elderflower cordial and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker. Shake for 1 min.
Take the glass out of the freezer. Rub one piece of lemon peel around the rim of the glass to coat with the peel's fragrant oils.
Strain the cocktail into the glass and top up with prosecco. Garnish with another strip of lemon peel. Serve immediately.
