Sammy the jammy snake
- Flour, for dusting
- 500g Jus-Rol Shortcrust Pastry
- 100g golden syrup
- 40g fresh breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 125g raspberry jam
- Sweets or icing, to decorate
Pre-heat the oven to 190C/170C Fan/Gas 5. Sprinkle flour over a work surface and roll out the pastry to the thickness of a pound coin.
Cut out 12 rounds and use to line a 12-cup bun tin.
Next, mix the golden syrup with the breadcrumbs and lemon juice in a bowl. Use this mixture to fill 6 of the pastry cases.
Fill the other six with the raspberry jam.
Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
Leave to cool, then line up the tarts and decorate with sweets or icing to look like a giant snake.
