Ingredients
  • Flour, for dusting
  • 500g Jus-Rol Shortcrust Pastry
  • 100g golden syrup
  • 40g fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 125g raspberry jam
  • Sweets or icing, to decorate
Method
  • Pre-heat the oven to 190C/170C Fan/Gas 5. Sprinkle flour over a work surface and roll out the pastry to the thickness of a pound coin.

  • Cut out 12 rounds and use to line a 12-cup bun tin.

  • Next, mix the golden syrup with the breadcrumbs and lemon juice in a bowl. Use this mixture to fill 6 of the pastry cases.

  • Fill the other six with the raspberry jam.

  • Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

  • Leave to cool, then line up the tarts and decorate with sweets or icing to look like a giant snake.
