Ingredients
  • 190g Asda Frozen Scallops
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 spring onions, trimmed and sliced
  • 1/2 tsp grated fresh root ginger
  • 1 small garlic clove, crushed
  • 2 tbsp dry sherry
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp clear honey in 1 tbsp boiling water
Method
  • Defrost the scallops in the fridge. Pat them dry with kitchen paper.

  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan and add the scallops, sliced spring onions and grated ginger. Cook over a medium heat, turning over the scallops occasionally, for about 2 minutes.

  • Add the garlic and cook for another minute or until the scallops are just cooked. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  • Add the sherry, soy sauce and honey to the pan, and simmer until reduced by half. Pour over the scallops and serve immediately.
