Ingredients
  • 200g mackerel fillet
  • 100g cream cheese
  • 50g creme fraiche
  • 1 tbsp horseradish sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
Method
  • Remove the skins from the mackerel and place them in a food processor with the cream cheese, creme fraiche and horseradish sauce. Blitz until smooth, then stir in the remaining ingredients. Season with salt and pepper as required. Note: If you want more texture, simply reserve a third of the smoked mackerel before blitzing and flake it into the pate at the end, stirring in to combine.
