Ingredients
  • 270g of walnut halves
  • 100g of caster sugar
  • 100ml of water
  • 1tbsp of cayenne pepper
  • 500ml Vegetable oil for frying
  • Sea salt
Method
  • Add cayenne pepper and sugar to the water and bring to the boil. Add the walnuts and cook for 2mins.

  • Drain, and deep fry the walnuts for 1 min.

  • Sprinkle with sea salt and serve warm or cold.
