  • 1kg pack Asda Pork Ribs
  • 2 tbsp Asda Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • 2 tbsp clear honey
  • 1 lime, juice of
  • 2 tsp five-spice powder
  • 4 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 4 spring onions, sliced
  • 350g Asda Frozen Steamed White Rice
  • 150g frozen peas
  • Put the spare ribs in a pan, cover with water and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Drain and lay evenly in a roasting tin.

  • Pre-heat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6. Mix together the sweet chilli sauce, honey, lime juice, five-spice powder, 2 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tbsp of the oil. Pour over the ribs and toss, distributing them evenly in the roasting tin.

  • Cook for 40 minutes, turning and moving them around the tin after 20 minutes.

  • Meanwhile, put the rice and peas in a pan with 2 tbsp water. Cover and cook over a low heat for 10 minutes.

  • Heat the rest of the oil until very hot and stir-fry the spring onions for 1 minute. Add the rice and peas and stir-fry for 5 minutes. Stir in the remaining soy sauce, serve with the ribs and garnish with lime wedges.
