Summer berry ice cream
- 300ml Asda Whipping Cream
- 300g condensed milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- For the sauce
- 454g punnet Asda Fresh Strawberries
- 150g punnet Asda Fresh Raspberries
- 75g icing sugar
Chop the fruit, add the icing sugar, mash well and allow to sit for 20 minutes. Blitz with a stick blender and then pass through a sieve for a super-smooth sauce.
Put the condensed milk, whipping cream and vanilla extract into a large bowl and, using an electric mixer, beat until thick and smooth.
Pour into a deep plastic container and stir in half the sauce, stirring gently to create a marbled effect. Pop in the freezer until needed.
Freezing will take 4 to 5 hours in total.
