Ingredients
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 stick celery, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Asda Mild Curry Powder
  • 2 x 390g cartons Chosen by you Italian Chopped Tomatoes with Chilli & Peppers
  • 350g Chosen by you Cooked Diced Chicken Breast (frozen)
  • 100g carrots, sliced
  • 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 200g portion Asda Steamed Long Grain White Rice (frozen)
  • 175g frozen sweetcorn
  • Crusty bread, to serve
Method
  • In a large pan, cook the onion in the oil until soft and translucent. Add the celery and cook for another 2 minutes.

  • Add the curry powder and cook over a low heat for 1 minute, stirring all the time.

  • Add the chopped tomatoes, frozen chicken, carrots, tomato ketchup and 200ml water. Heat until simmering, then cover the pan and simmer for 15 minutes.

  • Add the frozen rice and corn, and return to the boil. Cover and simmer for another 10 minutes. Serve with crusty bread.
