Ingredients
  • ½ watermelon
  • ¼ cantaloupe melon
  • ¼ honeydew melon
  • ½ pineapple
  • Juice ½ lime
  • Ice cubes
  • Juice ½ lemon
  • 8 strawberries
Method
  • Put 8 chunky tumbler glasses in the freezer.

  • Cut a few unpeeled slices from each of the melons and the pineapple. Set aside.

  • Peel the remaining watermelon and cut the flesh into chunks. Blitz in a processor or blender with the lime juice, a few ice cubes and 200ml cold water until smooth. Divide between the 8 glasses then return them to the freezer.

  • Peel the remaining pineapple, and peel and deseed the cantaloupe and honeydew melons. Cut into chunks. Blitz together with the lemon juice, a few ice cubes and 100ml cold water until smooth.

  • Carefully pour the pineapple mixture over the watermelon, tilting the glass so it settles in on top without the two mixing together.

  • Thread the reserved slices of pineapple and melon onto 8 wooden skewers, topping each one with a strawberry. Place the skewers in the glasses and serve the smoothies immediately.
