- 400g carrots
- 450g pack Asda Turkey Mince
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 tbsp Asda Chicken Gravy Granules
- 300g parsnips, quartered
- ½ 500g pack Asda Ready to Roll Shortcrust Pastry
Dice a third of the carrots, and halve the rest. Cook the mince and onion in 1 tbsp of the oil until the mince changes colour. Add the carrots and 300ml water. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Stir the gravy granules into the mince and put in a pie dish. Cool.
Pre-heat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6. Toss the remaining carrot and parsnips in the rest of the oil. Roast for 40 minutes.
Roll out the shortcrust pastry and cut a lid to fit the dish. Wet the rim of the dish, and press on the pastry. Cut a cross in the centre, brush with milk and bake for 25 minutes. Serve with the roast vegetables.
