  • Price: £1.95 per serving

  • 75cl bottle Riesling
  • 2 oranges, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 1 vanilla pod, split lengthways
  • 120g caster sugar
  • Pour the ingredients into a large, deep pan. Slowly bring to a boil then simmer for 40 mins to allow the flavours to infuse.

  • Divide between 6 heatproof glasses; serve hot.
