Add some festive flair to your holiday meal with this easy napkin folding trick

Want to wow friends and family at the holiday feast this year? We've got just the thing!

This briliant napkin folding tutorial shows you how to create pretty Christmas trees to decorate your diner table - no origami experience required!

Watch the step-by-step guide below and prepare to be amazed as your napkins are transformed into festive Christmas trees that can even stand up on their own. Your guests will be blown away by them (just don't tell them how easy they were to make!).

In the tutorial, clever blogger Sand & Sisal first starts by folding her napkin into a square. She then creates overlapping triangles before turning the whole thing over and folding the sides of the napkin across one another. Then it's one more flip over to tuck in the corners and create the tree's branches. Simple!

The final festive touch in the napkin folding tutorial is to insert a popsicle stick into the centre with a small ornament on top, but you could just as easily leave this step out.

Once finished, place these holiday trees on top of your guests' plates and then just wait for the 'oohs' and 'ahhs' as they admire your handiwork.

Fast, festive and fun - what could be better than that?
