A new month calls for new home trends. But this season, we're not talking summer. We're already thinking about how to add some calm and mindfulness to our homes for autumn and winter.
There's four new trends to get on board with for A/W including: Purposeful, Spirit, Precious Planet and Expression. Together they combine an eclectic range of bold prints, earthy tones, botanical influences and iridescent sheens.
Each one has a focus on quality, style and value.
Julie Varma, senior design director for George Home said: 'This Autumn/Winter, we wanted to design trend-led pieces that are both affordable and accessible for our customers, allowing them to create great design-led features in their home.
'Our in-house team have worked hard to create both beautiful and unique products to layer onto individual styles. We take great pride in our collections, and with our customers at the heart of everything we do, we are always excited to share our latest ranges.
'This season, the spirit trend is a highlight, featuring iridescent and soft gold infused homeware, this trend is perfect for adding a touch of magical fantasy to the home.'
Take a little sneak peek below...
Coming with a calming palette of neutrals, combined with warm textures and contemporary craft, this peaceful trend takes inspiration from Scandinavian and Japanese designs. Key colours include neutral tones of greys, blush pinks and soft shades of green. We think this relaxing trend is ideal in adding some laid-back colours to your home following a busy summer!
Create an urban jungle set-up in the comfort of your own home with Precious Planet. Striking in its design, this trend captures a botanical, green oasis reminiscent of the tropical rainforest. It comes with an eclectic mix of velvets, fringes, animal prints and coloured glass to create a strong bold statement in any abode.
This young, cultural trend is bright, bold and powerful so it's definitely not for wallflowers! Punchy prints and vibrant colours come together in this collection to make a powerful statement of self-expression. Punctuated by pops of industrialism for a contemporary warehouse edge, the use of bright, block colours with abstract patterns helps to make a statement in any home. We've already got our eye (literally) on these cushions.
Spirit takes inspiration from the magical and mystical. Soft hues mixed with crystallised and iridescent finishes make for an enchanting collection - check out the mesmerising kitchen set below. Pearls, faded denim and mixed metallics set the backdrop across bedding and soft furnishings whilst spirit animals and celestial skies exude a majestic aura. Just look at this dreamy bathroom set up!
