It might be cold outside, but we're already looking forward to George Home's new spring/summer 2019 collections.
"These beautiful collections are full of surprises"
Focusing on quality, style and value the five new collections include the calm and collected Sunbaked range, the geometric-inspired Offline collection and beachside living is key with Lemon Soul. Wonderland is all things vintage, while Fascination is full of mythical creatures and iridescent hues.
Julie Varma, senior design director for George Home told us: “Spring/summer is always a delight to launch following the dark nights of autumn/winter.
"We know our customers are passionate about their homes and enjoy updating for the change in season, that’s why our design team has been working hard to deliver a truly beautiful collection that is full of surprises.
"We are extremely proud of George Home and how the collections have grown from strength to strength each season. Sunbaked is a key trend for SS19 and offers our customers a beautiful take on Mediterranean living.”
Here's a little sneak-peak behind the new collections.
Taking inspo from traditional Spanish villas and desert landscapes, this collection will transport you to sunnier climes. Think baked terracotta colours, bold leafy prints and everything cacti – this modern trend is as calming as it looks.
Fun, fashion-savvy and futuristic – this retro trend isn’t for wallflowers. Make a statement with striking mermaid-inspired designs and ombre pastel tones. You'll see blue and pale pink marble bedding sets help to make a striking statement while the luxurious gold gives a refined finish. Perfect for adding pops of candy colours all over your home.
Bold sunflower prints, beautiful beach scenes and whitewashed backdrops feature heavily within Lemon Soul. There's also accents of sea blue reminiscent of relaxed beach houses on the Cornish coasts. It's a versatile and homely trend that is welcoming and reminiscent of warm lazy summer days.
Mysterious mansion houses, faded grandeur and vintage finds describes the Illusions collection. Key accessories include dark and chic skull and beetle trinkets, quirky-themed teapots and statement monochrome dinner sets that are sure to be a talking point.
Calling all minimalists! The Offline collection plays particular attention to geometric shapes and shades of charcoal grey, black and white. Whilst yellow lends a pop of colour to the trend. The overall effect is a fun and organic industrial contemporary collection that turns its back on technology.
