Psst! Take a sneak peek at George’s Christmas collection

It might be bright blue skies and rays of sunshine outside, but we've been thinking about Christmas since last December!

The most wonderful time of the year might be more than 5 months away, but we're ready to share a few of our favourite items that are due to hit our shelves this winter - just so you're in the loop!

Take a peek at George's home and fashion styles, and you'll be the person in the know about the hottest trends this Christmas...

From soft furnishings to bath accessories, and festive decorations to lighting, this year no corner of your home will be left undecorated.

Julie Varma, senior design director for George Home told us: "The Christmas build-up is a fun and exciting time, It's about spending quality time with family and friends and the thrill of decorating and getting your home ready for the festive period.

"We have four Christmas trends for 2018, our traditional Scandinavian inspired trend, Nordic, focuses on the classic red and white tones creating a cosy homely feel. Ice Palace consists of pale pinks, coppers and whites for a luxurious whimsical Christmas. Electric Sky brings oil slick and silver hues to the Christmas tree and Santa's Vacation is just brilliant fun.'

Electric Sky

This playful trend takes inspiration from the constellations and Northern Lights. Berry tones, black iridescent, silver glitter and white make up the cosmic colour palette.

Help bring your family and friends together with this warm relaxing collection of reds, whites, silvers and natural wood. This traditional Scandinavian-inspired Christmas is the perfect way to cosy up your home.

Santa's Vacation

Mixing together two of our favourite things - Christmas and sun - this trend celebrates the notion of Christmas in a sunnier climate. The collection is full of novelty pieces adorned with bright pink, green and blue across decorations and soft furnishings.

Ice Palace

Featuring luxurious delicate baubles in shades of gold and blush pink this collection, which is packed full of enchanting characters, brings an unexpected quirky twist to the opulent fairytale party.

Women's wear

When it comes to winter fashion for women, think sparkles, sequins and all things golden.

The 2018 Christmas collection from George focuses on two new trends for the party season. The first has a luxe metallic feel and features feminine pieces with rich textures such as velvet, mesh and sequins.

Hero pieces include a pinstripe metallic trouser suit and a golden, wide leg plissé co-ord for that cooler edge of the season.

In contrast, the eighties inspired collection takes inspo from an era of electric colour palettes with hot blues and fuchsia pinks. Sequins take centre stage in a range of must-have styles including statement midi skirts in daring blue and pink stripes and festive silver.

Keep your eye out for the fabulous strapless bodycon dress, with an all-over sequin check design. It's sure to turn heads at this year’s Christmas party.

Kids' fashion

Fun, festive and bang on trend, this Christmas season expect big styles for little people.

The classic novelty Christmas jumpers and mini-me styles continue the festive spirit across kidswear with pom-poms, glitter and playful slogans. Sequins are prominent throughout the collection and feature on standout pieces from a sequin mini skirt to a cosy jumper. If there's one thing to invest in this season for your little one, it's star prints. They are key for 2018 and can be seen on various pieces including short-sleeve shirts and skater dresses.

This season we've gone full on 'trend' across the range with metallic accents, bright coloured faux fur coats and leather-style biker jackets.

And we can't forget about George's babywear range for your little bundles of joy. Expect pastel shades in soft textures and autumnal checks with super cute motifs including gift-wrapped presents, elves, sprouts and moustaches. Awww!
