Fan of florals? Make a bright printed skirt – Love Island's Kaz's top pick – work from AM to PM with these styling solutions

3 ways to wear a printed maxi skirt

This season, we've invited make-up pro and former Love Island contestant Kaz Crossley to style up the new Ultra Brights collection from George - and put her own spin on it.

Her favourite piece from the Ultra Brights collection? A printed maxi skirt.

Kaz told us: 'I love the pattern on it. It reminds me of being on holiday.

'I would style it with a plain, tight crop top, a red or orangey lip, chunky earrings and a matching headband. If I was going to dress it up, I’d wear the matching top with my hair curly, some natural-looking make-up and some cute heels.'

Here's how to work it into your wardrobe.

Print works

Make a statement in a floral maxi skirt – team with an embroidered fuchsia bikini top, pink flip-flops and gold accessories. Add hoops and a headband, and keep your beach essentials in a trendy wicker bag. Less isn’t always more!

Day tripping? Wear your maxi with an attention-demanding orange shirt tucked in or knotted at the waist. H-bar sandals are having a moment and it’s easy to see why, so slip on a chic white pair to match your cross-body bag. The finishing touch? A faux-pearl barrette.

Make it match

There’s always space in your case for a matching set – aka an easy shortcut to style. The two-piece is the main attraction with this look, so just add summery espadrille style sandals, shell-shaped earrings and a round wicker bag. Summer holidays, we’re so ready for you!
