We can’t stop staring at this glow in the dark hair dye

Thinking of changing your hair colour this winter?

Imagine her in a spinning class with Black Lights on? She will be glowing!

Maybe you could go for a deep plum red, or brighten your locks up with some blond highlights.

Or how about taking the plunge and getting that ombre look you’ve always wanted?

But for trendsetters who want to stay one step ahead of the hair game why not take the even bolder move and make your mop luminescent, with the new trend called phoenix glow-in-the-dark hair.

Throwing it back to the 90s when glow in the dark paint, glow sticks and laces were all the rage, it seems US-based hair colourist Guy Tang is showing us exactly how to revamp our hair this season.

To create this super bright style, he uses Kendra Colour Creative: Neon Collection dye which makes your hair glow under a black light.

You can choose from semi-permanent neon colours such as violet, green, blue, yellow or charcoal.

Or as Tang explains in his video, he used an orange colour and fuchsia to create an ombre look before adding neon to his model’s hair to make it pop.

‘Imagine her in a spinning class with Black Lights on? She will be glowing!’ Tang titled his video.

As you can see from the pictures, this look isn’t exactly for the faint hearted.

Whilst we can’t comment on how impressed your boss would be if you turned up to work with your hair ‘glowing’, this trend is sure to make a statement (especially in dark places)!
