What better way to mark the start of spring than by updating your make-up collection.
Our brand new George cosmetics spring/summer range, hitting stores on March 12, has everything you need to get this season's must-have beauty looks and inject a splash of colour into your make-up bag.
From glittery bright blue eyeshadows to bold and brilliant gel effect nail varnishes - this season's update is nothing but striking.
To help you get ahead of the beauty bunch, here's the lowdown on the newest catwalk trends and how to recreate the looks with our collection.
Ladies in red and bright pink lipstick were seen trailblazing down the S/S catwalks with many sporting shiny top coats and holographic finishes. Dolce & Gabbana sent its models down the runway in a range of cherry-pop shades while pillarbox red was worn at Max Mara. The brighter the better, we say!
To recreate the look, try using our new shades of matte lipsticks (pictured below) which include the fabulous and highly pigmented bright pink, Flame On, and the brilliant peach hue, Bellini. But before you do, define your lips with our red lip define pen, Siren Call.
To help create the holographic finish, use our new metallic liquid lipglosses Belle and gold-coloured Clique. They help add a touch of shimmer when paired with a bright coloured lipstick.
Other additions to our satin range of lipsticks include the natural shade, Muse and for those who can't choose between a lipstick and a lipgloss - our chocolate-coloured matte liquid lipstick, Coco Loco was made just for you.
popping Nail art
Nail art is back and at this spring/summer's catwalks it was bolder and better than ever before. Designer Tom Ford nailed the ombre glitter nails looks, while flower-inspired nails were rocked at Creatures of Comfort.
You can make your nails looks runway-ready by using one of our new gel effect nail varnishes or long-lasting polishes (pictured below) and then getting creative with a nail art pen.
Our new gel varnish range includes Heatwave, Spirit Shine and Dusk, while our long-lasting polish includes Cashmere, Vacay, Vitamin Sea, VIP and Rich List.
If there's one trend to latch on to this spring it's all things shimmery, sparkly and shiny. Glittery eyelids in every shade under the sun were seen up and down the spring/summer catwalks at Topshop, Jeremy Scott and Givenchy - and we can't get enough.
Our new spring/summer velvet eyeshadow range is bright and beautiful with popping shades like Mermaid Kisses, which is a lilac hue, Mulberry Nights, with a rose gold tint, creamy-coloured Alaskan Sky and even this season's hottest colour - Unicorn Dreams, which is a magnificent pop of turquoise (pictured below).
There are also loose colour eyeshadow pigments to get your hands on including khaki-coloured Dessert Storm and burnt orange hue, Sienna.
