Kate Middleton stuns in floral print dress

The Duchess of Cambridge never steps a stylish foot wrong and her latest floral frock is no exception.

On Tuesday evening, Kate Middleton greeted British Olympic and Paralympic heroes at Buckingham Palace wearing a gorgeous midi poppy print dress.

This isn't the first time we've seen the Duchess experiment with prints. Earlier this year, she donned a lively pair of print trousers and embraced the folk trend with a knee-length embroidered dress. We might have to start calling her the princess of prints!

Kate teamed the Alexander McQueen red-flower print dress with matching red pumps and her usual flowing mane.

Just because temperatures are cooling, it doesn't mean you can't inject a bit of sunshine into your wardrobe with a floral print dress. Here's how you can get the royally-approved look.

Flatter your figure with this floral pencil dress in fetching green. Featuring a vintage-inspired square neckline and gathered at the natural waist, this pretty frock is perfect for a special occasion or easy to wear everyday when teamed with tights and a pair of flats or ankle boots.

Go for autumn hues with this vintage-inspired floral tea dress. This flowing dress looks gorgous with some chunky gold accessories and this season's on trend riding boot

Perfect for transitioning between the seasons, this tassel-trim woven dress features an intricate all-over floral print. The notch neck design has a co-ordinating tie fastening feature with chain tassel trims, taking all the fuss out of accessorising and staying stylishly up-to-date.

Channel your inner hippie with this 70s style split-sleeve dress. The lace-up collar is bang on trend while the delicate cherry blossom print looks so pretty.
