3 fashion tips on how to dress for sunshine

Dressing for the English weather can be very tricky. One minute it’s bright blue skies and the next it’s pouring down with rain.

But with April turning to May and thoughts turning to warmer times, we’re here to help out when it comes to dressing for some sunshine – even if it is only a couple of rays.

We've scoured the web for some fashionable stylish picks to help inspire your spring to summer style.

Go for pastel colours

Pretty pinks, lovely lilacs and mint greens scream summer. And these lightweight vests from George are no exception. You can opt for a bit of shimmer on your casual days or dress them up with a skirt or pair of leggings for a night out. With a knitted sleeveless design and a shimmer detail, it’ll shake up any outfit. But don't just take our word for it. Best magazine included our lilac vest top from George in their 'Celebrate your Shape' feature.

Opt for off the shoulder

Cold shoulder tops are the must-have item of the season which is great news for women everywhere, thanks to its flattering cut and versatile styling options. Show off your shoulders and keep arms covered with a chic shoulder top, paired with jeans for a casual look or a flowy skirt for a relaxed evening out. But if our word wasn't enough, check out Women's Way magazine which features our white and blue off the shoulder top. They've suggested pairing it with a pair of white jeans.

Cut some shapes in culottes

Wide-legged culottes are a smart alternative to tailored trousers, with plenty of styles and colours to suit all tastes and occasions. And we're not the only ones who think this, as Look magazine featured our red culottes (which you can find in store) in their 'We Love' feature.
