Our favourite trends from Paris Fashion Week

Bonjour Paris Fashion Week! It’s time to dig out your knee-high boots, channel your inner Chanel and grab a café crème.

We’re echoing the romantic new trends from PFW and showing you how to get the look with George.

1. Bling it on!

There’s no need to shy away from glitz and glam during the day if you’re taking notes from the Balmain army.

Anything shiny, shimmery or with sequins is a sure-fire way to look fashionable this season. This jumper dress from George ticks all the right boxes.

2. mellow yellow

Add a splash of yellow to your look, or for a more subtle seasonal approach plump for mustard. Go on, you’ve got a thumbs up from Jacquemus.

Black worn with a pop of colour will help to banish the winter blues.

3. Pale and interesting

Céline, you have our hearts! Keep your pieces neutral - so shades of cream, greys and browns are your go-to tones for an instant lesson in chic’onomics.

For a low-key take on the look, wear a neutral blazer over your tee with trainers.

4. Gloss over

We know a glossy black legging can sound tricky to pull off, but when paired correctly it can be the comfy alternative to your skinny jeans. Saint Laurent showed us how to wear a leather jean for the perfect night out trouser.

Luxe-up and contrast your leggings with an oversized knit. This versatile winter must-have is great with all footwear, from trainers to boots.

5. Red alert

We’re big fans of this season's hottest colour - red. Christian Dior opted for bright red coats, blouses and skirts.

Too bold? Why not try a red accessory instead. We’ve got the perfect pair of ankle boots at George that will make enough of a statement.
