Sarah Jessica Parker Reveals Her Top Tip For Wearing Heels

When it comes to celebs with serious style, then actress Sarah Jessica Parker is a clear contender.

"I say take them off at every available opportunity – under the table at a restaurant, at your desk, in the car"

Best known for playing shoe-loving Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica has a passion for fashion in real life too. The actress, producer and mother-of-three has her own fashion range and a dazzling shoe line (no surprises there!). So who better to get advice from when it comes to sporting sky-high heels, without any painful consequences?

Luckily, SJP has shared her top heel tip and it actually makes total sense (in fact, some of you might already be familiar with it!). The secret to wearing high heels without aching toes, is all about giving your feet a break.

"It doesn’t matter if you’re wearing the world’s best shoes, being on the ball of your foot for a long time is gonna hurt!" she told InStyle magazine. "I say take them off at every available opportunity – under the table at a restaurant, at your desk, in the car."

Don't mind if we do!

Sarah Jessica adds that her feet are her favourite body part as they’ve "never" let her down and she looks after them through regular at-home pamper sessions with her seven-year-old twin daughters, whom she shares with her husband Matthew Broderick.

"I don’t get pedicures or things like that, I just do it myself. My daughters and I take some sand and rub it all over our feet and we treat it like a pedicure," she said. Genius! Learn how to master a DIY pedicure here

Great tips, SJP! We're sure that even Carrie herself would approve. Now, how about that Sex and the City reunion?
