It's fair to say Meghan Markle is most definitely one of our favourite style icons.
Remember the elegant wedding dress she wore to marry Prince Harry? Or how about the cream-coloured sleeveless trench dress, designed by Grace Wales Bonner, she wore to show off baby Archie to the world in May?
But these aren't the only occasions the Duchess of Sussex has nailed the dress code.
To help celebrate Meghan's 38th birthday here are a few of our favourite style tips we've picked up from her...
1. Sometimes, less is more
Eighteen million people across the UK tuned in to watch Harry and Meghan wed in Windsor last year and those who saw will remember how iconic Meghan's dress was.
Designed by Givenchy's Clare Waight Keller, the wedding dress was beautifully simple, yet elegant - proving that less is sometimes more.
At the time, designer Clare told TIME magazine: 'The last time there was a royal wedding, there was no Instagram, really, or any of those huge social networks. So it really took me aback, actually. The idea of that purity was just really modern. I think it was right for now, and it was right for her.''
Meghan finished off the big day with another stunning but simple halterneck number, this time made by Stella McCartney.
2. Blue and white are a match made in heaven
The two colours have have always been a favourite colour combination of ours, but Meghan reminded us exactly the reason why. In July 2018 the Duchess stole the show when she attended Wimbledon dressed in an oversized striped blue shirt tucked into a pair of palazzo-style trousers in white. Talk about a colour match made for each other!
3. Don't be afraid to Colour clash
Talking of colour - it's not just muted tones that pair well together. If there's one thing we learnt from Meghan, it's that when it comes to colour the brighter the better! In January this year, Meghan attended a royal visit to Liverpool where she was seen sporting bright red and deep purple. Who knew these hues could work so well together?
4. Buy your shoes in a range of colours
We all know how the old saying goes: 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it'. And the same goes for your favourite pair of shoes. The Duchess has been photographed multiple times rocking her trusty pair of heels in beige and black.
5. Invest in a powerful two piece
It works, whatever the occasion. From weddings to work and off-duty weekend wear to the races, a great matching set can work wonders. Don't believe us? Check out this matching beige set that Meghan wore in January this year, when the, then pregnant, former Suits actress became the patron of the National Theatre.
