Whether you'll be sunning yourself in Sardinia or basking in your garden on those warmer summer days, George has got your swimwear covered.
Poolside or beach-bound, bikini or swimsuit there's something to suit everybody this summer according to Lucy Roberts, assistant swimwear buyer from George at Asda.
She says: 'The new ranges are bright, colourful, fun and flattering. They’re perfect for all our customers as there is something within each look for everyone.
'The most popular item has definitely been the multi-way we have done in the red spot and stripe design which has done the best. We have done this in a couple of colourways such as palm prints, a beautiful lilac tile print and we have another coming in soon in a stunning mono animal print with foil.
'We think our customer loves the multi-way because it has an underwire that makes her feel supported, and she can tie the straps behind her to prevent any strap marks.'
Got a small bust?
Lucy says: 'Our navy floral frill bikini with a ruffle detail trim is perfect as the key to flattering a smaller bust is detailing around the bust area whether that is to give the customer the illusion of a bigger bust or just so they feel comfortable.
'Another style that is perfect for our smaller bust customer is the orange diamond print cut out bikini, as again intricate these details around the bust is perfect to create a flattering dimension.'
Have a larger bust?
Then you'll need swimwear that will support you in all the right places.
Lucy tells us: 'For those with a larger bust, it’s all about feeling comfortable so anything with underwire or structure is perfect for making her feel supported. The style that does this perfectly is our multi-way so that she can still enjoy the luxury of no strap marks but when walking around she can use the straps for support.'
Got a straighter figure?
Shoulders and hips around the same measurement?
'For a straighter figure, depending on what you want, there are many styles that can be flattering,' Lucy says. 'Our high waist bikini briefs give a beautiful natural curve to the body and this style is also a massive trend right now. For those who want to be more covered, swimsuits with any ruched or wrap details would look great.'
Do you have a curvy frame?
Then you'll need some swimwear which accentuates your shape.
Lucy says: 'We've got a shimmering khaki swimsuit which comes with a body sculpting design to lend shape and support. Another style that is really popular and has done absolutely amazing is the placement print swimsuit with the print down the sides of the suit. This gives great support.'
Are you Pregnant?
You can feel your best with George's range of swimwear designed for comfort, without compromising on style.
Lucy says: 'Our maternity range is all about flattering that beautiful bump with the design detail of a ruched side and for a comfortable fit. A popular design detail that has worked really well in our range is a crossed/ twist front that sits comfortably on top of the bump.'
Have you Had surgery?
Lucy says: 'After the research/listening group George did on post-surgery styles, the feedback was that those who had surgery wanted swimwear that was high around the underarm area, some frill or ruffle detail and were feminine.'
George has incorporated all of these design aspects into their new range.
Lucy continued: 'We've done some high neck swimsuits such as a blue tile print, and we have also done some swimsuits with ruffle detail around the neckline if she wanted to conceal the prosthesis. Another special design detail is the pockets inside the swimsuit for the customer to insert any prosthesis.'
This plum coloured printed swimsuit comes with lightly padded cups for a natural lift and a frilly skirt or this blue tile-printed offering comes with a ruffled front and has wide shoulder straps for all the support you need. If you're looking for a high neck, look no further than this matching black crochet set.
