With so many concerning headlines about the state of our environment, it's no wonder so many of us are trying to dress more ethically these days – whether that means buying second hand clothes, repairing worn out garments or seeking sustainable options. At George Asda, sustainability has been a hot topic for a long time!
In fact, by 2025 George are pledging that any fashion or home products produced using polyester fibres will be made from fully recycled plastic. But you can start even smaller, with those everyday basics – like underwear…
George has created three soft touch lingerie sets made from recycled polyamide – which combine practicality with comfort AND sustainability – as part of their Entice collection.
Here's everything you need to know about the range.
The outer fabric on George's soft touch sets is made with recycled polyamide – which is made from pre-consumer waste. That 'waste' is generated in Asda's textile weaving facilities, later becoming George's super-soft t-shirt bra.
Designed for everyday comfort and for women of all ages, George's Entice bras feature delicate lace detailing on the back straps and a pretty rose gold trim. Customers can also choose from three lovely colours – ivory, pink and grey. They all come with matching underwear, too – a Brazilian brief (in ivory and pink) and a short in grey. Perfect for Spring!
